Handcrafted from solid hardwood, our contemporary frames will add a beautiful accent to any space. Built with versatility in mind, the frames can stand comfortably on any surface or hung in a collection on a wall.

Our frames are handcrafted to order from Saw Tooth Oak, an invader species being cleared from local, indigenous forests. This timber is then, in turn, repurposed by us as a sustainable option. We use locally produced glass in our frames.
The wood frame is designed to sit comfortably on a table without the need for a back stand..
Each frame has a Flexi point backing, for ease of print rotation.

We darken our wood to black using an “age old” process called “ebonizing”.
Ebonizing is a natural wood treatment which creates a darkening effect on the timber by reacting with the wood’s natural tannins. This method compliments the natural grain of the wood while beautifully darkening it, leaving a natural finish and texture which does not coat the timber. Eco-friendly and petrol-chemical free. The frame is then sealed with 100% pure tung oil, a natural oil that is derived from the Tung tree.

The frame is designed to stand on a surface but can easily be hung on a wall. When mounted onto a wall, the frame will sit flush against the wall. Plugs and screws not included.

File types: jpeg, png, pdf or phone pictures (largest size) for successful upload. Select: “email me an upload link” for other file types.
DPI (dots per inch): 300dpi
Size limit for each photo: photos must be below 25MB for successful upload.
Battling to upload?: If you are battling to upload your pictures, it could be due to internet connectivity issues or incorrect file type. If this happens, rather select “email me an upload link”. The upload link we send via email will allow you to upload a wider variety of file types and sizes.
What if I don’t know my picture’s file type or size? : No problem. First, try and upload your image/s using the uploader. If it fails, select “email me an upload link” and checkout. If your images are too small, we will get in touch with you to resolve this.

Shipping time: Once the product is ready to be couriered, delivery normally takes 2-5 working days, depending on your location.
As a guide, delivery to :
- city centres in Gauteng and Kwazulu Natal – 1-2 days;
- city centres in the Western Cape and Free State – 2-3 days;
- to the rest of South Africa – 3-5 days.
We currently do not ship out of South Africa.
Couriers do not operate on weekends. Pargo kiosks are open during the operating hours for your selected pick up point.
